CruxAI can be installed straight from the browser on any platform. It then opens in its own window with no address bar, keeps you signed in, and gets its own icon — the same as any other app on the device.
Installing
- Chrome or Edge, desktop — open ai.cruxinteractive.com and select the install icon at the right of the address bar, or Install CruxAI from the browser menu.
- Safari, macOS — File -> Add to Dock.
- iPhone and iPad — in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. For the fuller native experience, install the iOS app from the App Store instead.
- Android — in Chrome, tap the menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
App shortcuts
Once installed, pressing and holding the icon (or right-clicking it on desktop) offers jump-in shortcuts:
- New Conversation
- Daily Brief
- AI Apps
Getting updates
The installed app updates itself from the web — there is nothing to download. If something looks stale after a release, close the window completely and reopen it.
Removing it
Uninstall it like any other app on your device. Nothing in your account is affected: your conversations, memory, and files stay exactly as they are, and everything is still there in the browser.
