Crux Cloud has CruxAI built into it. Instead of remembering what you named something, you can describe it.
Natural-language search
Ask for what you are looking for the way you would ask a person:
- "the contract I uploaded in March"
- "screenshots from last week"
- "spreadsheets about the budget"
- "photos with a whiteboard in them"
Search draws on filenames, file types, dates, and — for images — the cached visual description of each photo.
The CruxAI panel
The panel inside Crux Cloud works on your files rather than in the abstract. Use it to suggest a folder structure for a messy directory, summarize what a document contains before you open it, identify duplicates and large files worth clearing, or locate a file you can only half describe.
What it does not touch
- Vault files are never indexed and never appear in AI search results.
- The panel proposes changes to your files; it does not reorganize things on its own.
Cloud AI vs. CruxAI itself
The panel in Crux Cloud is for organizing and finding your files. For working on a file's contents — analysis, rewriting, extracting data — attach it in CruxAI instead, either from your device or with Add from Crux Cloud in the CruxAI composer.
