Crux Cloud at cloud.cruxinteractive.com is your file storage across every Crux product. This is the groundwork: getting files in and keeping them findable.
Uploading
- Drag and drop files or whole folders straight onto the file list.
- Or use the upload button and pick files from your device.
The limit is 2 GB per file, and uploads also have to fit inside your remaining storage. Large uploads continue in the background — you can keep browsing while they finish.
Folders
Create folders and nest them as deeply as you like. Drag files onto a folder to move them, or use Move from the file menu to pick a destination. Copy duplicates a file into another folder, which does consume storage twice.
Renaming several files at once
Batch rename handles the case that is genuinely tedious by hand — a folder full of IMG_4471.jpg that should be holiday-01.jpg. Select the files, choose batch rename, and give it the pattern to apply.
Finding things again
- Search matches filenames as you type.
- Advanced search narrows by file type, size, and date.
- Recent lists what you touched most recently.
- Filter the list by kind — documents, images, audio, video, or archives.
Seeing where your space went
Storage analytics breaks your usage down by file type and shows your largest files. When you are close to your quota this is the fastest way to find what is worth deleting.
Activity
The activity view is a log of what happened to your files — uploads, renames, moves, deletions, and shares. It is useful for working out where a file went when you are certain you did not move it.
