Site Builder has two kinds of limit: how many projects you can keep, and how much building you can do each month.
Projects
- Free — up to 5 projects.
- CruxAI+ — unlimited projects.
Deleting a project frees its slot immediately. Download it first if you might want it back.
Build tokens
Generating and revising a site is metered in tokens, the standard measure of AI usage, counting both what CruxAI reads and what it writes.
- Free — 50,000 build tokens per month.
- CruxAI+ — 500,000 build tokens per month.
The allowance resets at the start of each monthly period. Editing files by hand, using the Design view, and publishing do not consume build tokens — only asking CruxAI to generate or revise does.
Making your allowance go further
- Describe the whole app in your first prompt. One thorough build costs far less than six rounds of "also add..."
- Use Fast for small, well-specified changes and save Pro for architectural work.
- Make small text and styling edits in Design or Files rather than asking for them.
- Ask for one focused change at a time — a vague request that produces the wrong thing costs the tokens twice.
Project size limits
These apply on every plan:
- 60 files per project.
- 512 KB per file in the editor.
- 12 MB total project size, including images and other media.
If you hit the total size limit, oversized images are almost always the cause — compress them or host large media elsewhere.
Images inside Site Builder
Images CruxAI generates for a project draw on your normal daily image allowance — 15 a day on Free, 100 a day on CruxAI+ — and refresh the next day.
