You can belong to as many Spaces as you need, and each one is completely separate from the others.
Creating a Space
From your Spaces home page, choose to create a new Space and give it a name. You become its owner. A short tour walks through the sections the first time you open it.
Inviting people
Open Members and select Invite member. Spaces generates a single-use invite link:
- It works once — one link admits one person.
- It expires after seven days.
- Send it directly to the person you mean it for, over a channel you trust.
The invite page asks them to sign in, or walks them through creating a Crux ID if they do not have one. They do not need an account before you invite them.
Treat an invite link like a key. Anyone who opens it first gets the seat, so avoid posting one somewhere other people can see it.
Managing pending invitations
The Members section lists every outstanding invite with its expiry. Revoke one that was sent to the wrong person or is no longer needed; the link stops working immediately.
After they join
New members arrive as members by default, which lets them take part in the work without administering the Space. Change anyone's role from the Members list — see the roles article for what each level can do.
Removing someone
Members can be removed from the same list. Content they created — tasks, notes, files, messages — stays in the Space; removal ends their access, it does not erase their contributions.
