You can request a complete copy of your data from Data & account actions in the account portal. It covers every Crux service, not just one.
Choosing what to include
Pick one category, several, or everything:
- Account & preferences — profile details and the choices you have made.
- Security & sign-ins — sessions and authentication records.
- Family controls — parental links and related records.
- Crux Connect — your posts and social activity.
- CruxAI — conversations and related records.
- Crux Cloud organization — your file inventory and structure.
- Crux Spaces — your Spaces content and activity.
Each category explains what it contains, where the information came from, and why it is held.
JSON or CSV
- JSON — complete nested records. Best if you want everything, or you are a developer.
- CSV — one file per data table. Best for opening in a spreadsheet.
Confirming it is you
Because the package can contain sensitive information, you must enter your current password to submit the request. The export is then prepared in the background — large accounts take longer.
Downloading it
When it is ready, download it from the same page. Ready downloads expire after seven days, so save the file somewhere durable when you get it. After that the download is removed and you would need to request a new export.
The request history stays afterwards, so you keep a record of what you asked for and when, even once the download is gone.
Cloud organization is not your files
The Crux Cloud category exports your file inventory — names, structure, and metadata — not the file contents. To get the files themselves, download them from Crux Cloud.
Formal privacy requests
If you need a formal privacy response rather than a self-service export, the same page links to support for that.
